Microstrategy Developer (Sept)

Insight Global is looking for a MicroStrategy Developer to join one of our clients’ business intelligence teams. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and dossiers that support key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working within enterprise data environments, building complex reporting solutions, troubleshooting reporting issues, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. This role requires strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, and the ability to enhance report performance and data accuracy.

3-5+ years of experience developing reports, dashboards, and dossiers using MicroStrategy Desktop and Web Strong experience creating metrics, filters, prompts, custom groups, and other MicroStrategy objects Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts Experience building highly formatted reports, visualizations, and interactive dashboards Understanding of data warehouse and data modeling concepts Experience troubleshooting reporting, metadata, and connectivity issues Ability to optimize report performance and identify root causes of system or reporting defects

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting enterprise-scale reporting environments Experience working with BI governance and metadata management Exposure to ETL processes and data integration concepts Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
