Job description
Kforce has a client that is looking for a UX Designer for a remote, 12-week contract opportunity. The UX Designer will partner closely with UX Designers, marketers, legal partners, developers, and business stakeholders to update and create clear, useful, on-brand digital content within established experiences., * Write, edit, and refine customer-facing digital content needed for tax season readiness
- Support production-level content updates across existing pages, components, product experiences, and customer journeys
- Help transition experiences and messaging to the client brand, ensuring consistency in voice, terminology, and customer understanding
- Support content migration for existing pages moving into updated client experiences
- Write and refine content for key experiences including the software category page, DIY and Assisted product detail pages, and Financial Services content
- Incorporate seasonal product, pricing, offer, regulatory, and legal revisions into existing experiences
- Partner with UX Designers to establish clear content hierarchy and ensure copy works effectively within responsive components and layouts
- Translate complex tax, financial, product, and legal information into clear, approachable customer-facing language
- Work within established client voice, tone, terminology, content standards, and design system patterns
- Review existing content for clarity, consistency, accuracy, accessibility, and unnecessary duplication
- Incorporate feedback from Legal, Marketing, Product, and other stakeholders while maintaining a clear and cohesive customer experience
- Support additional low- to medium-complexity writing and production needs as seasonal priorities evolve
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of UX writing, content design, digital copywriting, or related experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital content, UX writing, web copy, or product content
- Experience partnering directly with UX or Product Designers in Figma
- Familiarity with accessibility and writing for responsive digital experiences
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and information hierarchy skills
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing high volumes of revisions and similar content across multiple experiences
- Comfortable working within an established brand voice and content system
- Comfortable balancing feedback from Marketing, Legal, Product, Design, and other stakeholders
- Ability to simplify complex or technical information without losing accuracy
- Able to work quickly across multiple assignments and changing priorities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
