Job description

  • Territory & Pipeline Development: Prospect, develop, and close large-scale infrastructure projects within the Texas data center market. Leverage these opportunities for opportunities elsewhere in the data center segment.
  • Technical Solution Selling: Serve as the sales lead on the application of power and distribution transformers, harmonic filters, and reactive power compensation equipment for mission-critical facilities.
  • Strategic Networking: Build and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers, including end-users (hyperscalers, colocation providers), electrical contractors, specifying engineers, and EPCs and EPCMs.
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Navigate sometimes long, complex sales cycles from initial design/specification through bidding, procurement, and delivery.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide ground-level feedback on competitor pricing, lead times, and emerging technical specifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure proposals meet customer specifications and delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of successful B2B technical sales experience in the commercial/industrial electrical industry., * Industry Expertise: A proven track record of selling medium/high voltage power equipment, specifically into the data center market.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of power distribution, power quality (harmonics, power factor), and the ability to interpret single-line electrical diagrams
  • Established Network: Active relationships with major Texas-based data center developers, EPC and EPCMs, and specialized electrical contractors.
  • Travel: Ability to travel extensively to US data center stakeholders, with occasional travel to corporate headquarters or manufacturing facilities.
  • Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a remote environment, managing a territory like an independent business. Strong written & verbal communications as well as customer service skills.
