Job description
Summary: Provide support to the development of new and revisions to existing products by testing and identifying product performance problems., * Validate Test Software.
- Perform root cause analysis on Production electrical failures.
- Specify test station equipment based on design requirements.
- Develop calibration plant to be entered into Calibration system.
- Develop test station documentation including Test Plans, Schematics and Database Structure.
- Assist in the training of Production associates to execute test software.
- Interface with other departments involved in manufacturing process.
- Support CCA and ICA analysis process.
- Evaluate and recommend potential new test equipment.
- Assemble test station components.
- Troubleshoot test station issues in Production.
- Research and implement continuous improvement projects.
- Perform Measurement System Analysis on test station.
- Execute new product development procedures.
- Participate in seminars, meetings and training sessions as required to maintain a working knowledge of new developments, techniques and products in the industry.
- Evaluate and make recommendations to improve manufacturing methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) in an Engineering discipline from four-year college or university.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience in electronics industry
- Familiarity with APQP process
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Concepts
