Vehicle Test and Software Support Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Test & Software Support Technician to support automotive testing operations, vehicle fleet management, and software validation activities. This temporary position is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and experience coordinating vehicle maintenance, software updates, and testing support. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support a fleet of test vehicles, including fueling, car washes, maintenance scheduling, and vehicle transportation
• Perform vehicle software and Head Unit (HU) updates to ensure test vehicles remain current with the latest software releases
• Conduct test drives and transport vehicles between testing locations as required
• Support automotive testing activities by validating software updates and documenting results
• Create and maintain vehicle maintenance records, usage logs, reports, and related documentation
• Develop and update “How-To” guides and vehicle work instructions
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ticket validation, issue verification, and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain vehicle readiness and support day-to-day testing operations in garage and outdoor testing environments

• Experience supporting vehicle operations, fleet management, automotive testing, or technical support activities preferred
• Comfortable working with vehicle technology, software updates, and testing processes
• Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
