Programmer Analyst

As a Programmer Analyst , you’ll work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with stakeholders to design, build, and optimize enterprise applications that improve how work gets done., The Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting technical solutions that address complex business needs. Working closely with process owners, the Programmer Analyst learns and understands business requirements, analyzes available data, and determines the optimal technical solution. This role serves as a critical bridge between business and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements and delivering solutions from initial concept through post-production support., As a Programmer Analyst, the selected individual will design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions to support complex business processes. Responsibilities may include:

• Develop proof-of-concepts to validate understanding of highly complex business requirements, iterating to refine and finalize solution design
• Apply configuration changes and develop new code in alignment with architectural and information security constraints
• Facilitate information-gathering sessions with process owners to analyze processes, identify challenges, and surface opportunities for improvement
• Liaise with business and technology staff to build relationships and develop a thorough understanding of business requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and actionable development tasks
• Determine which business requirements fit within a proposed solution and develop best-fit recommendations to address process and systems gaps
• Develop detailed estimates for schedule, labor, and contractor needs
• Adhere to project management methodology and produce all required artifacts and documentation
• Support functional end-users following deployment and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives and new requirements development
• Provide guidance, advice, and training to less experienced staff members

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; five years of experience as a developer; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience customizing, implementing, integrating, and managing MS Dynamics CRM (2013/2015/2016/365) and related Microsoft technologies including Azure, .NET, C#, JavaScript, Power Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Platform in an enterprise environment
• Experience migrating on-premises Dynamics CRM to Dynamics 365, including hands-on work removing customizations no longer supported in Dynamics 365
• Experience integrating on-premises solutions and other cloud-based solutions with Dynamics CRM

Battelle is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $81,600 - $116,300 per year, in addition to our comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location and market conditions.
