Scrum Master

• Facilitate core Scrum events, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement, ensuring meetings are focused, productive, and aligned with Agile principles.
• Serve as a servant leader and Agile coach, guiding Scrum teams and Product Owners toward greater self-organization, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify, surface, track, and help resolve impediments and blockers that impact team productivity, delivery, or quality; escalate issues when appropriate.
• Partner with Product Owners and development teams to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog and support effective refinement, estimation, and sprint readiness.
• Facilitate right sizing activities and help teams establish and consistently apply Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
• Monitor and communicate sprint and delivery metrics, including throughput, service level expectations, and other measures that support forecasting, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Use Azure DevOps as the primary Agile delivery and tracking tool to maintain sprint boards, backlogs, work items, metrics, and delivery information.
• Analyze delivery data and trends to identify risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve team predictability and performance.
• Facilitate communication among Product Owners, technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership, translating technical delivery information into clear business-level updates.
• Coordinate across teams to identify and manage dependencies, delivery risks, improvements, and cross-team impediments.
• Support effective release planning and delivery coordination while maintaining transparency around scope, progress, risks, and expected outcomes.
• Coach team members in Agile and Scrum practices and facilitate constructive conflict resolution without direct authority.
• Foster an environment of trust, collaboration, transparency, and shared ownership while helping teams continuously improve their processes and delivery practices.
• Promote Agile principles and practices across the organization and contribute to the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile ways of working.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master, Agile practitioner, or in a comparable Agile delivery role.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, events, roles, artifacts, and practices.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum events and supporting teams through the full sprint lifecycle.
• Experience coaching and mentoring development teams and Product Owners in Agile practices and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, manage, and remove impediments and coordinate resolution of cross-team dependencies and risks.
• Experience supporting backlog refinement, prioritization, estimation, sprint planning, and delivery forecasting.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile project and work management, including backlogs, sprint boards, work items, and delivery metrics.
• Ability to use Agile delivery metrics to assess team performance, identify trends, communicate delivery health, and support forecasting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated servant-leadership skills and the ability to influence, coach, and resolve conflicts without direct authority.
• Strong organizational, facilitation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I), or equivalent Scrum certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with distributed, cross-functional, or enterprise-scale Agile teams.
• Experience coordinating dependencies and delivery risks across multiple Scrum teams or workstreams.
• Experience with Agile transformation, organizational change, or coaching teams in the adoption and maturity of Agile practices.
• Experience with both Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Experience developing or maintaining Agile dashboards and using delivery data to provide actionable insights to teams and leadership.
• Experience with Jira, Power BI, or other Agile reporting and delivery-management tools.
• Experience supporting cloud, data, AI/ML, enterprise technology, or other complex technical initiatives.
• Experience facilitating planning and alignment sessions involving multiple teams or senior stakeholders.
• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile coaching certification, or other advanced Agile/Scrum certification.

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00.

This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 04 individual contributor in a Program/Project Management position.
