Senior Systems Engineer

Direct the migration and modernization of aging enterprise storage systems and virtualized infrastructures. Architect and manage scalable Microsoft Azure cloud environments to support organizational digital transformation. Lead the design and execution of robust disaster recovery frameworks and high availability protocols. Oversee Windows Server administration and optimize virtualized platform performance for business-critical applications. Engineer automation solutions using PowerShell to streamline infrastructure operations and system monitoring. Execute root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting for complex infrastructure outages and performance bottlenecks. Establish future-state architecture standards and provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff. 8+ years of professional experience in systems engineering within large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud architecture design, deployment, and administrative optimization. Experience with Windows Server lifecycle management and enterprise virtualization utilizing VMware or Hyper-V. Experience with enterprise storage modernization, including SAN/NAS platform migrations and performance tuning. Experience in disaster recovery planning, high availability strategies, and enterprise-grade backup solutions. Experience with PowerShell scripting for infrastructure automation and Active Directory management. Excellent communication skills for articulating technical strategy and explaining architectural decisions to stakeholders.
