Principal ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Software Developer

Experteer Overview As a ServiceNow HRSD Software Developer, you will design, build, and deploy HRSD solutions that support enterprise HR initiatives. You’ll work with HR stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. This role focuses on delivering employee-centric, secure HR services while continuously improving HR operational efficiency. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow HRSD solutions aligned to enterprise HR initiatives * Configure and maintain HRSD components including HR services, case templates, knowledge, workflows, lifecycle events, journeys, COEs, and security models * Modernize existing HRSD solutions to improve employee experience and efficiency * Demonstrate proficiency with workflow automation, UI policies, data policies, business rules, client scripts, and integrations within HRSD * Collaborate with HR product owners to translate HR requirements into technical solutions * Integrate HRSD with core HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP) and other enterprise platforms * Create and maintain technical documentation of HRSD configurations and changes * Mentor and demonstrate HRSD capabilities to other professionals; support on-call duties as needed Tasks * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 3+ to 5+ years of related experience * Hands-on ServiceNow development experience with HRSD modules (Case & Knowledge, Employee Center, Lifecycle Events, Employee Journeys) * Proficiency in JavaScript; familiarity with Python or PowerShell for automation/integration * Understanding of SQL database connections, object structures, and queries * Ability to research and evaluate new ServiceNow and HRSD capabilities for solution creation * Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders * Organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities * Experience collaborating in a virtual/remote environment * Ability to travel occasionally * SAFe Agile experience (preferred) * ServiceNow certifications (preferred) Key requirements * health insurance coverage * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) * discretionary bonuses
