Job description

  • Lead the program’s system integration and flight test efforts to include technical direction, planning, staffing, and execution of a weapon system-level integration and test team, ensuring the weapon system will meet its performance, safety, and functional objectives.
  • Manage systems and project engineering resources for the program and provide programmatic and proposal support
  • Coordinate test lab activities for Navy/Army efforts to drive execution.
  • Offer guidance to a Systems Engineering team, covering the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development to weapons system operations and integration.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the larger systems team, national team members, and customers to ensure successful product delivery
  • Utilize your excellent interpersonal skills to assist with the resolution of programmatic and technical issues across the program, identify risks and appropriate mitigation plans
  • Collaborate with government and customer representatives to support critical daily space-based operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities.
  • Some travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in an engineering or closely related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working on complex systems program (missile, spacecraft, etc.)
  • Experience performing in systems engineering functions
  • Experience with the readiness/execution of system level tests
  • Experience integrating or troubleshooting electrical or hardware-software systems
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Experienced as a technical leader, previous L-coded leadership or management experience.
  • Experience interfacing with Range Safety and Customer Counterparts.
  • Experience with Navy or Army customers.
  • Experience working in the development phase of a missile program.

  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $129000.00 - $239600.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
  • Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $116100.00 - $215700.00
  • Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Ocala, FL; Lufkin, TX; etc.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
