Entry Level PC Diagnostic Technician

We are currently seeking a high energy candidate to join our hardware testing team as a Level 1 Technician. In this role you will be sorting, testing, troubleshooting and inventorying various types of computer hardware (servers, PCs etc.) in a warehouse environment. Some of the equipment we commonly work with include Dell, HP, Lenovo/IBM PCs and servers; laptops, phone systems, routers and switches., * The tech is responsible for installing and configuring hardware and software on a high volume of laptops, desktops and mobile devices

• This will include un-boxing units to configure and boxing units back up to prepare for shipment
• Test systems to ensure 100% quality
• Maintain minimum monthly productivity goals
• Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including hardware, software and peripheral equipment
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management
• Demonstrate ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• 1-2 years of experience supporting PCs, laptops, printers, and telecommunication equipment, * High School diploma or GED
• A + Certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience with the ability to demonstrate knowledge
• Analytical skills and the ability to solve problems
• Ability to quickly learn about new technology and keep pace with an ever-changing industry
• Ability to assemble and disassemble computer and mobile equipment, mechanically inclined
• Knowledge of computer components and configuration of various types of computers, as demonstrated by previous experience building and installing computer, * Computer Hardware: 1 year (Preferred)
• Hardware Troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)
• PC Components Knowledge.: 1 year (Preferred)
