Job description

  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, including boot errors, virus removal, and disk cloning.
  • Build and configure new hardware systems. (Custom built)
  • Install and update software packages and maintain small networks.
  • Provide IT support to staff and clients.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls; communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Update and manage tickets using our system (training provided).
  • Create invoices and process credit card payments (training provided).
  • Handle computer pickups/drop-offs and explain procedures.
  • Support the IT specialist and bench operations.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Preferred candidates do not smoke during working hours.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in help desk or IT support in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • 2+ years of experience building custom and gaming pc
  • Solid knowledge of Processor types, RAM, GPU, and Motherboards
  • Strong customer service, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in hardware repair for laptops and desktops.
  • Solid understanding of internal components and system architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and think outside the box.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or advanced education preferred.
  • A+ Certification preferred.
  • Dell Technician Certifications preferred.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs consistently (e.g., PCs, servers, printers).
  • Must pass a standard employment background check.
  • Must have a reliable car for pickups/drop-offs.
  • Clear and professional communication in both verbal and written form, in the local language., As a Computer Bench Technician at PCland Network Services, you’ll be responsible for hands-on diagnostics and repairs of various devices. You’ll work on tasks like replacing hard drives, troubleshooting boot issues, cloning disks, and preparing systems for deployment or client delivery. You’ll also interact with customers to explain issues and solutions, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and professionalism. We work as a team, so enthusiasm, positivity, and the ability to think outside the box are essential.
