Job description

As our Level II/III technical resource, reporting to the Service Operations Manager, you’ll own the hard problems - the ones first-line support can’t close - and the documentation and training that help the whole team resolve issues faster. Specifically, you’ll:

  • Provide Level II/III technical support to remote customers, resellers, and internal teams across North America, across hardware, Cloud/IoT software, electrical systems, and cellular VPN routers

  • Troubleshoot network and telephony issues, including TCP/IP, SIP/VoIP, FreePBX/Asterisk, and AWS-hosted environments, driving each case to a verified fix

  • Build and maintain the technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base that capture resolution knowledge for the whole team

  • Develop and deliver training that raises technical capability across front-line support, resellers, and internal teams

  • Reproduce, document, and escalate product and field issues so they feed real quality and engineering improvements

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, and coordinate across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer Service

  • Travel occasionally (roughly 1-2 times per year) to support installations, escalations, or training

Once you’re grounded in the role, there’s genuine opportunity to help shape new products and services as we continue to grow., Your work protects people. This isn’t abstract - the systems you support help people get help in an emergency.

  • Established, but not stuck. An established company that continues to learn, improve, and build for the future.

  • Room to grow. Start grounded in support, then help build what comes next.

  • Real balance. A predictable weekday schedule, minimal travel, and genuine respect for life outside of work.

HOW WE WORK

Our team operates by a shared set of values:

  • Candor. We say what’s true, even when it’s hard, so problems get solved instead of buried.

  • Integrity. We do what we say, and we own it when we don’t.

  • Detail & Process Oriented. We build things right, sweat the specifics, and improve the process - not just patch the symptom.

  • Personal Mastery & Group Learning. We keep learning, and we share what we learn.

  • Owns the Outcome. We take responsibility for the result, not just the task.

Requirements

Technical and customer support experience

  • Solid networking fundamentals - TCP/IP troubleshooting and network design

  • Comfort with (or the ability to quickly pick up) SIP/VoIP, FreePBX, and Asterisk

  • A four-year degree or equivalent experience and a solid work history in a similar role

Preferred / Trainable:

  • Familiarity with AWS-hosted environments

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Teams, and project-management tools

  • Experience creating technical documentation or delivering training content

  • An interest in growing toward product or engineering-facing work over time
