Job description

Randstad Strategic Accounts is looking for a business professional with a knowledge and proficiency working in the banking industry. We have a role that we are looking to fill for a contract position with a top tier bank in the financial industry. salary: $48.88 - $51.88 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis & SME Partnership:
  • Partner with Market Risk and Counterparty Risk subject matter experts (SMEs) to:
  • Understand end-to-end regulatory reporting workflows (data sourcing * transformation * aggregation * submission)
  • Document current-state processes, controls, and data dependencies
  • Identify:
  • Manual touchpoints
  • Reconciliation gaps
  • Data lineage issues
  • Opportunities for standardization
  • Automation & Solution Design:
  • Develop future-state automation proposals aligned with enterprise technology strategy
  • Translate business processes into scalable technical designs, including: Data pipelines
  • Aggregation logic
  • Reporting layers
  • Evaluate modernization opportunities such as:
  • Migration of legacy SQL-based processes to modern application frameworks (e.g., Java-based ETL)
  • Consolidation of fragmented reporting workflows into structured infrastructure
  • Ensure solutions:
  • Meet regulatory accuracy and auditability requirements
  • Improve performance, scalability, and control environments
