Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and support large-scale Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle RAC, Exadata, Data Guard, Oracle Linux, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and high-availability production environments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Exadata, and Data Guard
  • Experience with Oracle Linux and Oracle ASM
  • Database performance tuning, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery experience
  • Experience applying Oracle quarterly patches and upgrades
  • Shell scripting experience (Python or Perl is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic and enterprise Oracle environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Cloud migration experience (AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud)
  • Oracle Key Vault experience
  • Experience supporting mission-critical production environments, * Oracle DBA: 8 years (Required)
  • Oracle RAC: 5 years (Required)
  • Exadata: 5 years (Required)
  • Data Guard: 5 years (Required)
