Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and support large-scale Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle RAC, Exadata, Data Guard, Oracle Linux, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and high-availability production environments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Exadata, and Data Guard
- Experience with Oracle Linux and Oracle ASM
- Database performance tuning, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery experience
- Experience applying Oracle quarterly patches and upgrades
- Shell scripting experience (Python or Perl is a plus)
- Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic and enterprise Oracle environments
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Cloud migration experience (AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud)
- Oracle Key Vault experience
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments, * Oracle DBA: 8 years (Required)
- Oracle RAC: 5 years (Required)
- Exadata: 5 years (Required)
- Data Guard: 5 years (Required)
