Job description

Primary duty will be working with commercial clients on their technology support and implementation needs. You will find yourself working in varied IT environments on a regular basis., You must have done this type of work before, as a third-party IT support engineer / technician. It is very different than working in the same corporate IT environment every day.

Requirements

  • Seven years work experience in IT Support and Engineering is required. We are looking for hands-on support engineers, not managers. Please do not submit a resume if you do not have a good deal of the skill sets listed below.
  • You will be traveling to client sites on a regular basis.

Experience and Skill Sets

  • Dashboard oriented RMM suites; NinjaOne
  • Firewall configuration - mandatory
  • Remote Desktop / VPN / Terminal Server expertise
  • Microsoft Server operating systems
  • Desktop Support
  • Virtual Machines
  • Microsoft 365
  • Server migrations and upgrades
  • Network security / Penetration testing
  • SentinelOne EDR
  • HIPAA Compliance knowledge a plus
  • ECW eClinicalWorks knowledge a plus
  • VOIP phone experience a plus
  • Networking equipment including: Ubiquiti, SonicWall and other similar switches, access points, core switches and firewall technologies
  • Datto Business Continuity
  • High level understanding of DHCP, DNS, network routing
  • Low voltage wiring and terminations a plus

  • No smoking on the job. Good hygiene. Punctual.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and able to be directed
  • Proven technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Exceptional customer service orientation; You must understand that the issue has not been resolved or until the client verbally acknowledges such.
  • Ability to present yourself in a professional manner
