Jr. IT Configuration Technician

• Configure, image, install, and test desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues before deployment.
• Prepare customer systems for successful installations.

Support Customer Deployments

• Travel to customer sites throughout the Northeast to assist with technology deployments.
• Participate in rack-and-stack projects, workstation installations, equipment upgrades, structured cabling, and hardware installations.
• Work alongside experienced engineers on customer implementations.

Grow Your Technical Skills

• Assist with operating systems, software installations, networking equipment, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Verify system functionality and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in team projects while continuously expanding your technical knowledge through hands-on training and mentorship.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior IT Configuration Technician to join our growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent graduate, technical school student, or aspiring IT professional to gain hands-on experience with enterprise hardware, networking, customer deployments, and modern technology solutions while learning directly from experienced engineers.

No experience? No problem. We value curiosity, reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn just as much as previous experience., We’re looking for someone who has:

• A passion for technology and a desire to build a long-term IT career.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, or Linux.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A willingness to travel throughout the Northeast.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Help Desk, Desktop Support, internship, or entry-level IT experience.
• Exposure to imaging or provisioning tools (Autopilot, Intune, Ghost, Acronis).
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, or Microsoft environments.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or similar credentials., * Driver’s license and clean driving record (Required)
