Job description

Step into a high-impact leadership role at the center of enterprise AI transformation. As Director, AI Governance, Enablement, and Business Alignment, you will build and own the function responsible for helping the organization adopt AI responsibly, expertly, and at scale. This role is at the intersection of business strategy, technology, governance, and change enablement. It partners closely with the AI Platform team and senior collaborators across the enterprise to transform AI opportunities into practical, measurable business value. If you are passionate about responsible AI, enterprise transformation, and working with partners, this role offers a chance to develop a highly visible function. You will help define the future of AI adoption across the organization. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: * Lead the day-to-day execution of enterprise AI governance processes, including intake, review, prioritization, approval, monitoring, and ongoing measurement across departments.

  • Guide AI governance committees and working groups to ensure responsible AI practices are embedded into decision-making, risk management, security, and compliance processes.
  • Champion enterprise-wide AI education and adoption through AI literacy programs, role-based training, leadership briefings, and practical enablement resources.
  • Build a clear and scalable AI demand intake process that helps the business evaluate, prioritize, and advance use cases based on value, feasibility, risk, and strategic alignment.
  • Partner directly with business leaders to find opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, customer impact, and decision support, then translate those opportunities into actionable pilots and initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards and executive-ready reporting to supervise AI adoption, utilization, performance, cost, value realization, and risk across the enterprise.
  • Serve as a key connector between business needs and the AI platform roadmap, collaborating with engineering, security, data, and product teams to scale approved solutions.
  • Continuously improve AI governance, training, and adoption models using collaborator feedback, performance metrics, emerging trends, and evolving risk considerations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM You will join a newly formed, highly visible team built to connect business ambition with responsible AI execution. The team works closely with AI Platform Engineering, security, legal, compliance, HR, finance, and global business units to help the organization move quickly while maintaining the right governance, controls, and alignment. This is a collaborative, fast-evolving environment where your ability to influence, simplify complexity, and bring structure to emerging AI opportunities will make an immediate impact. You will help build how AI is adopted globally, enabling teams to innovate with confidence while protecting the organization and its collaborators. WHY JOIN US:

  • Build and shape a new enterprise function with visibility across senior leadership and global business units.
  • Play a meaningful role in defining how AI is adopted responsibly and effectively across the organization.
  • Partner with a broad network of business, technology, security, legal, and compliance leaders on high-priority AI initiatives.
  • Drive measurable impact by helping teams turn AI ideas into governed, scalable, value-producing solutions.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in technology, digital transformation, enterprise platforms, AI enablement, governance, or related transformation functions.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs that bring together business, technology, security, compliance, and operational collaborators.
  • Experience driving adoption of new capabilities, platforms, or operating models across a large or matrixed organization.
  • Background in AI, analytics, digital enablement, responsible AI, governance, enterprise transformation, or emerging technology initiatives preferred.

Skills/Certifications

  • Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI principles, enterprise risk management, and practical controls for safe technology adoption.
  • Ability to build and scale enterprise training, enablement, communications, and change adoption programs.
  • Skilled at translating business needs into prioritized initiatives, roadmaps, success measures, and executive-level recommendations.
  • Excellent collaborator management, facilitation, and executive communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Data-driven approach with experience using dashboards, metrics, reporting, and insights to guide decisions and demonstrate value.
