Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience designing enterprise data platforms
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Expertise in OneLake, Data Integration, Data Engineering/Spark, Data Science, and Power BI
  • Strong Spark, SQL, Python/Scala, KQL, and data modeling experience
  • Experience with ETL/ELT, Delta/Parquet, data lakes/warehouses, and large-scale data platforms
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, RBAC, security, lineage, cataloging, and compliance
  • Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code using Git, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or equivalent
  • Experience migrating legacy/on-prem or cloud data platforms to modern data platforms
  • Knowledge of Azure services such as ADF, Synapse, Azure Storage, Key Vault, Azure AD, Service Principals, and Managed Identities
  • Experience with real-time/streaming technologies such as Kafka, Event Hubs, or Spark Streaming is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders
