Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases, messaging systems, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, database performance, and system scalability., * Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

  • Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices for enterprise-scale applications.
  • Develop clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimize queries, indexes, and data access.
  • Develop and integrate event-driven and asynchronous systems using messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
  • Deploy and operate applications in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve application or infrastructure performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in system design, architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
  • Develop automated unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Generics, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
  • Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Big-O complexity.
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
  • Experience with database indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, caching, and performance optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills., * 8+ years of software development experience, with significant experience in Java backend development.
  • Experience developing enterprise-scale backend applications and distributed systems.
  • Experience working with cloud-native applications and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of software development, system performance, troubleshooting, and scalability.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
