IT System Administrator

As an IT System Administrator Future, you will have the opportunity to act as an IT Liaison for our assigned systems by providing the technical resource support for our operational application owners and aligned initiatives. You will configure, modify, and maintain our business applications while also creating technical documentation for build requirements, data flow diagrams, software/configuration specifications and more. Working with the team, you will execute application administration tasks, including system configuration setting, associated software application administration, troubleshooting, and system maintenance as well as audits and analysis to ensure system integrity.

• High School diploma (or GED) and working toward relevant technical certification, training program, or associate degree.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical problems
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance individual and team effort in collaborative processes while meeting set deadlines

This program will be a 8 week program based at the Netsmart Solutionarium in Overland Park, Kansas.

The FUTURES Program includes a balance between on the job learning, hands on client based work, professional development opportunities, leadership exposure and several social/networking events throughout the summer. If you aren’t local to the Kansas City metro are we will have housing options for you available (certain criteria will have to be met in order to qualify for housing).
