Analytics Engineer

We are currently looking for a skilled Analytics Engineer for one of our clients within the financial services domain. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and solution design within a modern cloud-based data environment.

You will work on business-critical reporting and analytics solutions used for both internal stakeholders and external clients. The environment is highly data-driven and focused on scalability, automation, and continuous improvement.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys remaining hands-on technically while also influencing technical direction, mentoring colleagues, and solving complex engineering challenges.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions
• Develop and optimize modern data pipelines and reporting processes
• Contribute to technical and architectural decision-making
• Work closely with engineers, product owners, architects, and business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Improve data quality, platform stability, and engineering standards
• Mentor and support other engineers within the team
• Help reduce technical debt and improve long-term maintainability
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborative engineering discussions

Do you have experience in Scalability?, * Around 6+ years of experience within data engineering or analytics engineering

• Strong experience with modern cloud data platforms
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Snowflake/dbt environments
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines and data models
• Ability to take ownership of technical solutions end-to-end
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder interaction experience
• Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers
• Someone proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented
• Fluent in English
