Data Center Interviewer

· Conduct structured technical interviews for Data Center Technician candidates across various experience levels.

· Evaluate candidate knowledge in hardware installation, rack-and-stack activities, structured cabling, troubleshooting, and data center operations.

· Assess both technical capabilities and soft skills including communication, reliability, teamwork, and safety awareness.

· Provide clear, consistent, and objective interview feedback aligned with organizational hiring standards.

· Support and backfill hiring manager interview stages as needed to ensure hiring continuity.

· Partner closely with recruiting teams and hiring managers to maintain interview scheduling and candidate throughput.

· Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the interview process.

· Identify opportunities to improve interview processes, evaluation criteria, and candidate assessment methods.

· Collaborate with operations teams, hiring managers, and recruiting partners to align on role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.

· Participate in calibration discussions with interviewers and stakeholders to maintain consistency in hiring decisions.

· Assist in refining interview questions, rubrics, and hiring standards for technical roles.

· Support occasional interviews for Project Managers and other technical operations positions.

· Strong hands-on experience in data center operations, including hardware installation, cabling, and troubleshooting.

· Solid understanding of data center environments, workflows, and technician responsibilities.

· Prior experience conducting interviews in a hiring manager or technical interviewer capacity.

· Strong understanding of effective interviewing techniques, including structured and behavioral interviewing.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience as a Data Center Technician, Lead Technician, or similar field-based role.

· Experience serving as a hiring manager or regularly participating in structured interview panels.

· Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and interview coordination processes.

· Experience hiring for data center, infrastructure, or technical operations roles.
