Job description

  • Partner with customers to understand their intermediate technical needs and provide solutions

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers

  • Complete intermediate preliminary design reviews for new business opportunities

  • Complete intermediate critical design reviews for new product development

  • Create and maintain engineering documentation (models, drawings, and procedures)

  • Support the sales team by providing technical information and product demonstrations

  • Process engineering change requests internally and externally

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction (e.g., R&D, manufacturing, sales)

  • Engineering approver for engineering documentation reviews

  • Partner with 3rd party suppliers as needed to support product gaps

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline

  • 3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in a customer-facing role

  • with a Master’s degree counting as 2 years of experience

  • 2 years’ experience with CAD and engineering software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX)

  • 2 years’ experience in product design, including experience with complex surfaces, assemblies, and kinematics

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, * Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Ability to self-manage and successfully work without supervision
  • Ability to handle and prioritize dynamic workload
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven proficiency with presentations and public speaking
