MP&P Technical Analyst 3

Commercial Airplanes is looking for Associate and Experienced Non-Destructive Test (NDT)Specialists to support the In-Service NDT team based in Tukwila, WA on first shift. Position Responsibilities:

· Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.

· Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.

· Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.

· Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.

· Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.

· Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.

· 1+ years of education or experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).

· Proficient in MS Office Suite

· Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.

· Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

· Ability to work in confined spaces.

Preferred Skills:

· 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).

· 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing

· 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).

· Experience with CAD Software

· Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures
