Network Operations Technician

Murray Electric System is seeking an experienced, dependable, and technically proficient individual to join our Broadband operations team as a Network Operations Technician. The successful candidate will work with both fiber and cable broadband technologies with MES’s transition to an all-fiber network. Previous experience in telecommunications, broadband operations, networking, information technology, electronics, field service, or a related technical environment is required., * Proven experience with computer networking concepts.

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of network troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues on a wide variety of devices, both indoor and outdoor equipment.
• Demonstrated analysis skills for diagnosing complex network or system problems quickly and accurately.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
