Secret Principal Network Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a principal network engineer to support a large government customer. This person is responsible for the integration, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and security of network devices and services. This role requires a strong understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, cloud connectivity, and network management tools to monitor and analyze network performance at the physical and IP packet levels. This person will be working with Palo Alto, Aruba and Cisco networks and should have a strong understanding of how to design, implement and maintain these networks. This is a hybrid cloud environment so an understanding of how to establish and maintain Virtual Private Gateways and maintain connectivity to multi-cloud environments will be key.

Secret Clearance IAT II or higher certification 10+ Years of Network Engineering Experience 3+ Years of experience with either Palo Alto or Aruba networking and/or firewalls Strong Experience with networking in a cloud environment Strong Experience with Network/System Hardening Understanding of Zero Trust architecture
