Job description

Secur-Net USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to lead the IT department and take full ownership of company and customer-facing technology within the security sector. This is not a training or developmental role; the selected candidate must already have the technical, leadership, and organizational skills required to manage staff, systems, security, support, and ongoing technology improvements.

The position combines department leadership with advanced technical work involving computers, servers, networks, cybersecurity, IP camera systems, video management software, analytics, monitoring technology, and related infrastructure., · Lead the IT department and oversee Hardware and Network Technicians; assign work orders, set priorities, track progress, and ensure timely, high-quality completion.

· Build, configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, servers, Windows operating systems, printers, scanners, and other company technology.

· Manage routers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs, internet connectivity, IP addressing, remote access, wireless bridges, and network performance.

· Oversee cybersecurity, endpoint protection, MFA, passwords, administrator access, backups, account security, and immediate removal of access for terminated employees.

· Program, configure, standardize, and support IP cameras, NVRs, Digifort or comparable VMS platforms, camera analytics, monitoring systems, smart switches, and related security-system technology.

· Purchase, install and configure camera and analytic licensing into VMS platforms.

· Provide advanced help desk support and technical guidance to employees, customers, and field technicians; respond immediately to urgent outages and critical system issues.

· Maintain network diagrams, IP/device lists, password-vault structure, computer inventory, customer equipment records, programming standards, and onboarding/offboarding procedures.

· Manage IT vendors, subscriptions, renewals, licenses, support tickets, technology projects, equipment replacements, upgrades, and cost-saving improvements; report regularly to management on risks, backups, open issues, and progress.

· Travel to client locations as needed

· Other tasks assigned by management

· Schedule and coordinate with Service Department

Requirements

· Proven experience independently managing or leading IT operations in a small-to-mid-size business environment.

· Prior experience purchasing, install and configure camera and analytic licensing into VMS platforms.

· Strong hands-on experience with computer/server hardware, Windows administration, network troubleshooting, and hardware replacement.

· Demonstrated knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi, remote access, IP addressing, backups, cybersecurity, and access control.

· Experience with CCTV, IP cameras, NVRs, camera analytics, remote video monitoring, and Digifort or another video management system.

· Ability to create standards, procedures, documentation, and repeatable workflows rather than relying on undocumented knowledge.

· Strong leadership, communication, organization, task-management, and project-management skills.

· 1-2 years if in field experience

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent certification and relevant experience; high school diploma or equivalent required. Must pass a background check and maintain a clean motor vehicle record., * IT management: 4 years (Required)
