Job description

  • Performs all tasks in a safe manner. Complies with all plant and company safety programs.
  • Working closely with customer service and planning department for customer needs related to Q/A.
  • Inspecting (auditing) all production lines pulling production samples and completing specification measurements
  • Pulling and reviewing customer samples from WIP, Finished Goods & Raw material warehouses.
  • Scanning production documents into Docushare.
  • On shift verification QA hold paperwork and actions are taking place daily
  • Retrieval and counting of product and packing containers for sample shipments.
  • Standard department organization.
  • Inspect and prepare color standards for plate room and presses. (Reviewing color)
  • Pull press sheets daily from printing presses for inspection and paperwork scanning daily.
  • Assist in sorting product in QA hold or inner department when needed. General office duties to include, extensive computer data entry, filing.
  • Investigate internal & external complaints

  • Miscellaneous duties- filling safety supplies, assisting QA techs, Supervisor, Manager, Q/A supply ordering, etc.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Statistical Process Control?, * Requires near/far acuity. Must have good vision and color perception. Must be detail oriented.

  • Must have basic computer skills for data entry purposes.
  • Must be able to learn to use SPC (Statistical Process Control) procedures.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Work overtime as required to meet customers’ needs.
  • Ability to be a problem solver in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Manufacturing or Quality Control experience required. Must have good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
