Job description

Automotive design

  • Own Technical Product, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop design and technical requirements. Design distribution of function across the eco-system and document the feature design for development of component functionality and interfaces.

  • Serve as the central resource with design as the product moves through development.
  • Act as feature champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholder and align design activity with business goals and priorities.
  • Manage the prioritization and refinement of the design work products while working with the development teams to clarify requirements balancing business needs with technical requirements.
  • Lead issue resolution for systems in design. Maintain knowledge of application development and connectivity domain in the industry.
  • Work with Business teams to define primary customer requirements for new connectivity features.
  • Work with integration and development teams on a daily basis to identify, root cause and correct issues.
  • Creation of user stories and requirements defining feature functionality.
  • Issue/GIM management, Decision making group - Responsible to manage engineering vehicles issues on GIM system working with
  • Design Release Engineer & other all stakeholders to find & implement RCA /PCA. Update all Issues in Meeting, glide path for specific vehicles line

Requirements

Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering?, * Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Master of Science / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred), from an accredited university

  • Driveline, axles, transmission, electrified driveline systems, or powertrain systems engineering experience
  • Experience in supervision or in direct team leadership
  • Strong understanding of driveline components and interface requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presenting complex material to various audiences
  • Strong leadership
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing work assignments
  • Knowledge in powertrain product development processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects to successful conclusion
  • System Level Thinker - The ability to understand how the different powertrain components and systems are interdependent
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Powertrain / Engine / Transmission operation and components.
  • Thorough knowledge: Productivity software from Google and Microsoft.
  • High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
