Job description

As a Java/React Developer, you will support enterprise application development and maintenance initiatives within the Client Project Development and Maintenance programs. You will work as part of an Agile development team to design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications while collaborating with project managers, application owners, UI/UX designers, and technical teams. This role requires expertise in Java-based backend development and modern React-based frontend development to deliver scalable, responsive, and accessible business applications., * Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, React, and related technologies.

  • Collaborate with project managers, application owners, and Agile team members to plan and deliver software solutions.
  • Develop and support full-stack applications, including backend services, frontend user interfaces, and database integrations.
  • Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and modern web development practices.
  • Work closely with UI/UX teams to implement intuitive and accessible user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain applications within JBoss Enterprise environments.
  • Create and optimize database interactions using Oracle databases and JPA/Hibernate frameworks.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
  • Support application deployment, maintenance, performance optimization, and production issue resolution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience programming complex systems using Java and development tools such as Eclipse and JBoss Developer Studio.
  • 4+ years of experience developing applications using Java 8.
  • 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework development.
  • 5+ years of experience using JPA/Hibernate for data access and persistence.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • 4+ years of experience programming with Oracle 12C or Oracle 19C databases.
  • 4+ years of experience developing responsive user interfaces using React.js.
  • 4+ years of experience working within JBoss Enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and self-management skills.
  • Experience with WCAG accessibility standards, JUnit, Tiles, and Jasper Reports is highly desirable.
