IT Technician

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling first level support requests by telephone, email, or chat in a personable and friendly manner with clients. The Help Desk is prepared to answer the most asked questions, configure new equipment, administration of domain/email accounts. Work environment is fast paced and demanding but provides a great opportunity for exposure for many leading technologies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail requests for assistance from clients experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, server and other computer-related technologies.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows technologies
• Troubleshoot network, VOIP, Internet issues, peripherals (Printers, Scanners, and other devices)
• Provide support for backups, antivirus, web filtering, and spam filtering
• Provide support for Office 365’s collaborative platform
• Provide support for other common business applications
• Provide support for common IT tasks (password resets, new user setups, etc.)
• Provide end user training for common support requests

• Associate degree (Bachelors preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related technical field preferred
• Certifications a positive - CCENT, CCNA, MTA, MCSA, MCSE, A+
• Must have excellent customer service skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must demonstrate organization and prioritization skills to manage time and have effective decision making and problem-solving skills
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate technical issues both internally and externally
• Ability to lift standard computer equipment
• Reliable transportation
• Maintaining a clean and organized office work space, * Help desk: 3 years (Required)
• Office 365: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
