If you’re looking for the type of role where your technical decisions will materially shape the future of the company-not just another engineering position-we’d love to speak with you. Goliath Partners will be in touch.

About the company

Goliath is retained on an exclusive search with a well-funded, late Series A Computer Vision startup that’s become the clear leader in its space. They’ve raised $75M+ from some of the industry’s most respected investors, including Sam Altman and Y Combinator.

They’re looking to hire a Founding-caliber Backend Leaning Full Stack Engineer. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys solving difficult technical problems, and wants genuine ownership over what gets built. You’ll have significant influence over architecture, technical direction, and product decisions while working alongside a small, high-performing engineering team.

The company is fully remote across the US, with offices in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Austin.

Role Highlights

  • High ownership with the autonomy to shape architecture, technical direction, and product priorities.
  • Build across the backend while contributing wherever the business needs you most.
  • Work on a production-grade Jetson-based inference stack, where strong Linux fundamentals are valuable.
  • Join a team that values engineers who build, iterate quickly, and wear multiple hats.
