About the company
Glass Roots Construction (GRC) is a first-class fiber optic utility construction firm founded by career telecom and construction professionals. We leverage the latest technologies and up-to-date construction practices to design and build high-performance networks that deliver fast, reliable connectivity for businesses, schools, and healthcare.
At GRC, we believe that great infrastructure is built on two foundational commitments:
- Safety First: This is our #1 priority and a mutual commitment. We protect our team members, the public, and our customers’ assets by prioritizing safety over production and ensuring every project is executed without shortcuts so everyone goes home safe.
- Quality & Excellence: We commit to excellence in every detail. By investing in our people, best-in-industry equipment, and processes, we deliver reliable, lasting work and exceptional, professional service for our customers.
We are looking for people who take pride in their trade and want to help us lay the foundation for a safer, more connected future.
The Opportunity
Glass Roots Construction (GRC) is seeking a skilled Enterprise Systems Engineer to serve as a core technical driver in building, scaling, and optimizing our enterprise applications ecosystem. As GRC continues to expand, this mid-level individual contributor role is essential to connecting our operational workflows, streamlining data pipelines, and eliminating manual bottlenecks across the company.
You will focus heavily on enterprise application development within our Zoho One platform (CRM, Creator, Analytics, DataPrep, Projects, and Desk). In this role, you won’t just maintain tools-you will architect robust Deluge scripts, design complex API integrations, structure enterprise data pipelines, and craft automated workflows that directly support our field operations, project management teams, and executive leadership.
Enterprise Systems is a small team at the start of a significant expansion, and this is one of two roles we are adding now. You will not be inheriting a finished platform. There is a real backlog of work waiting: replacing the aging forms and field data collection tools our crews use today, bringing scattered department workflows onto one platform, building connections between systems that do not talk to each other, and creating the reporting our project and executive teams need as the company grows. If you want a role where you can point at the systems the business runs on and say you built them, this is that role.
As the Enterprise Systems function grows, we expect the people who help build it to grow with it.
