Job description
This is a fast-paced, dynamic IT position. You will work hands-on with the latest technology in multiple client environments. All while engaging our clients in the process to understand their technology needs and enhance their technology efficiencies., You are a motivated and customer-focused Level II system administrator who supports our clients Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure. You have hands-on expertise in server/OS, networking, and storage systems, and will play a critical role in supporting multiple client’s environments.
You know how to:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and storage systems following pre-defined process.
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Implement automation scripts to streamline routine tasks at the direction and support of our engineering department.
- Support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Assist in implementing network improvements through the direction of the engineering department
- Support storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Support regular backups and disaster recovery testing at the direction of the engineering department and know process documentation.
- Experience patching various devices with known process and tools during a patching cycle
- Manage virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Support robust IAM policy and security measures within the public cloud.
- Build/Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proficient with server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, VMware).
- Strong networking knowledge (e.g., Firewalls, Switches and Routers).
- Experience with storage technologies (e.g., NAS, SAN, backups solutions).
- Working experience with Observability tools (e.g., Logic Monitor, RMM).
- Familiarity with Scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM tools.
- Experience working in an MSP multi-tenant environmentCertifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CCNA, or VMware VCP.

- Employee assistance program, Shift Schedule: This is a 12-hour day shift (5:45 PM to 6:15 AM Mountain Time), operating on a 12/7 rotational schedule . The rotation is as follows:
- Week 1: Work Sunday through Tuesday (3 consecutive days)
- Week 2: Work Saturday through Tuesday (4 consecutive days)
The schedule rotates on a bi-weekly basis.
This rotation then repeats every two weeks, providing built-in extended breaks and predictability for work-life balance.
Holiday: You will be required to work the holiday if a holiday lands during your shift. Holiday pay includes your hours worked, plus 8 hours of holiday at your regular hourly rate.
Onboarding and Training Schedule: For the purposes of onboarding and training, the shift fir this position for the first 3 weeks will be Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mountain., Estimated Starting Salary/Wage Range: $26.00-$28.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
This position is eligible for additional compensation beyond the base hourly rate, including applicable shift differentials for qualifying overnight and weekend hours, as well as overtime and holiday pay. Actual total earnings will vary based on hours worked, schedule, eligibility, and other applicable factors.
