IT Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an on-site, detail-oriented and technically skilled IT Operations Supervisor to join our team. The IT Operations Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This position will assist with planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects and develop project plans outlining scope, objectives, tasks, timelines, and required resources. In addition, the IT Operations Supervisor will supervise and provide direction to IT Support Technicians., * Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, service providers, and clients; document project progress and provide status updates.

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including hardware, software, systems, and network infrastructure.
• Oversee the IT onboarding process for new associates, ensuring systems, equipment, access, and applications are properly configured.
• Maintain accurate tracking and records of IT assets.
• Coordinate network and infrastructure projects with managed service providers (MSPs).
• Conduct project risk assessments and identify potential issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Supervise IT Support Technicians and coordinate their projects, tasks, priorities, and workflows.
• Establish and coordinate IT Support schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and timely response to business needs.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and personnel to ensure all necessary tools and support are available for project activities.
• Assist with the installation and configuration of IT systems, development of technology-use protocols, and delivery of technical support and training to associates.
• Monitor system performance, testing activities, and project progress; prepare reports and updates to keep stakeholders informed of project status.

Education & Experience:·

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or similar work experience.
• Practical experience installing and maintaining systems.
• Experience with project life cycle topologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

Physical Demands:

• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to oversee other computer components
• Lifting and transporting objects, such as computers, servers, printers, and peripherals, * IT Support: 3 years (Required)
• IT Operations: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
