Job description

  • Write public cloud infrastructure-as-code automation using Terraform.
  • Design and develop automated public cloud landing zones to build core foundational platform services.
  • Develop cloud service provisioning automation integrating IAM, networking, security policies as code, and observability.
  • Implement resiliency, observability, and FinOps capabilities within infrastructure automation for IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Develop and maintain the cloud services catalog.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines for cloud platforms, virtual machine images, and containers.
  • Collaborate with product management and operations to deliver the engineering roadmap in an Agile model.
  • Partner with Information Security to engineer secure application patterns into cloud platforms.
  • Perform research and gather information to define stakeholder business problems.
  • Translate business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks aligned to standards and policies.
  • Ensure technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards.
  • Promote an inclusive, healthy working environment and help resolve organizational impediments.

Requirements

We are seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure cloud automation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD and a proven ability to deliver secure, observable, and resilient cloud platform services at enterprise scale., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • 3+ years as a Cloud Automation Engineer with 3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience.
  • Significant experience writing HashiCorp Terraform configurations and modules.
  • Experience with DevOps and GitOps models including infrastructure as code, configuration as code, and policy as code.
  • Proficiency translating designs into production-grade Terraform code.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud. AWS and Google Cloud Platform experience desirable. Certification preferred.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security.
  • Experience building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutions in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Understanding of landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and Well-Architected Framework principles.
  • Experience with containers and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, pipelines, and container repositories.
  • Experience with automation and programming tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Java, and Python.
  • Experience with cloud logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Bash or Python.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Azure ML as a primary skill for platform and service enablement.
  • Terraform expertise for reusable modules and governance patterns.
  • Experience in financial services or on technology and infrastructure teams.
  • Linux/UNIX system administration experience.
  • Container technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
