Job description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Follow best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment automation.
Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot production issues.
Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and manage services in cloud environments.
Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Kotlin
Expertise in building RESTful APIs and backend services
Strong understanding of JSON, web services, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
Experience with distributed systems and multi-tier applications
Knowledge of Agentic AI
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle/DB2 and Cassandra/Couchbase
Knowledge of automated testing using Selenium, REST Assured, and Cucumber
Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and Git
Understanding of code quality standards and Git branching concepts
Experience working with Agile tools such as JIRA or Rally
Cloud exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred
