Job description

Wisconsin Mortgage Corporation is an established independent mortgage lender and the in-house mortgage partner of Shorewest Realtors, Wisconsin’s largest real estate company. We are expanding our technology team and are looking for a motivated Assistant Systems Administrator (IT Support & Systems) to help support our employees, maintain our technology infrastructure, and assist with ongoing system improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in IT while working in a professional financial services environment. You’ll work directly with our Systems Administrator and leadership team while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise technology, cybersecurity, cloud systems, and mortgage technology platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide first-level technical support for employees across the organization.
  • Assist with setting up new employee user accounts, and system access.
  • Support Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) and other mortgage technology platforms integrations.
  • Maintain Encompass Change Management.
  • Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, software updates, system backups, and endpoint protection.
  • Coordinate with third-party technology vendors and support providers.
  • Participate in technology upgrades, implementations, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain and assist with implementing solutions by creating new workflows, input forms, codebase assemblies, plugins and standalone applications.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of IT support, help desk, or systems administration experience.
  • Programming & Scripting Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript and Visual Basic (VB / VB.NET / VBScript).
  • Practical experience writing, testing, and debugging custom code to support system automation, business logic, and custom integrations
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) or other mortgage banking software LOS lending software integrations.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management or (CRM) platforms.
  • Experience supporting financial services or mortgage lending environments.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint administration and collaboration tools.
  • Experience working with document management, imaging, or workflow systems.
