Job description

As a mid-level data analyst on the Claims Control Physical Damage team, you’ll support the Calibrations and the Total Loss and Salvage agenda. The Calibrations agenda helps ensure estimate-related decisions are aligned to established standards and handling expectations, supporting greater accuracy, quality, and consistency in physical damage claim handling. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain reports, perform analyses, monitor trends, and respond to ad hoc requests that help the team identify opportunities for improvement. You’ll also provide analytical assistance on the Total Loss and Salvage agenda by collaborating with the analyst who leads that work on reporting, trend analysis, and other business needs as they arise. This work helps the team monitor performance, support operational decision-making, and contribute to stronger business results.

Requirements

  • A minimum of four years of analytical work experience
  • {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
  • {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience
  • This position requires online pre-employment testing for external candidates.

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Tableau, SAS, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of large data concepts, practices, and terminology.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in an adaptive, team-oriented environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office - such as PowerPoint and Excel - with advanced skills in spreadsheet functionality including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, and graphing; familiarity with macros.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear, meaningful insights.
