Job description

Our team is partnering with a large public utility organization to hire a SharePoint Developer to support a major SharePoint modernization and migration initiative. This role will play a critical part in migrating legacy SharePoint environments, redesigning workflows, and helping business stakeholders successfully transition to modern Microsoft 365 technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with deep SharePoint migration experience who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder collaboration, workflow automation, and enterprise content governance., * 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise SharePoint migration projects

  • Successfully completed at least three SharePoint migration projects from on-prem environments (SharePoint 2013, 2016, or 2019)
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint permissions inheritance and migration strategies
  • Advanced Power Automate development experience, including Approval workflows, HTTP connector integrations, Parallel processing, Nested expressions, API integrations, and/or Complex conditional logic and dynamic branching

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting government, utility, or large enterprise environments
  • Experience with OpenText Documentum D2
  • Experience with FME Migration-Center or similar migration platforms
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint permissions inheritance and migration strategies

Daily Responsibilities

  • Lead migration efforts from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online and OpenText Documentum D2
  • Analyze existing SharePoint content, metadata structures, permissions, and site architectures
  • Develop migration strategies that preserve content integrity, metadata, permissions, and version history
  • Execute migrations using approved migration toolsets and validate successful data transfer
  • Partner with Microsoft 365 teams to ensure governance, compliance, sensitivity labels, and site provisioning align with organizational standards
  • Work directly with business units to review existing SharePoint content and determine migration, archival, or disposition strategies
  • Analyze existing SharePoint 2013 workflows and redesign them using Microsoft Power Automate

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Automate development
