Job description
We are seeking a skilled Cisco VoIP Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise VoIP and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong Cisco experience and a solid understanding of voice, networking, and security technologies., * Design, configure, and support Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, SIP trunks, and gateways.
- Troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN, and VoIP issues.
- Configure and optimize QoS, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP/EIGRP), and high-availability solutions.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot using tools such as SolarWinds and PRTG.
- Support network security, including Cisco ASA, VPN, Cisco ISE, PKI, and access controls.
- Assist with VMware, AWS/Azure, and Windows/Linux environments as needed.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow ITIL/network security best practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco VoIP/CUCM.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, DNS/DHCP, and QoS.
- Experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Scripting/automation knowledge (Python, Bash, or Ansible) is a plus.
Experience: Up to 5 years of relevant experience. Cisco experience is required. Five 9s/high-availability experience is a plus.
