Principal Product Manager - Developer Tools & Engineering Systems

Experteer Overview As Principal Product Manager for IC3’s software engineering tools, you set the multi-year vision and drive execution for internal developer tools and engineering systems. You translate SDLC needs into a clear, prioritized roadmap that boosts developer productivity and enables safe, confident deployments at scale. You will partner with engineering leaders, platform teams, and engineers to deliver high-impact tooling across multi-team initiatives. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on product delivery in a fast-evolving real-time communications platform. Compensation / Benefits * Define and evangelize a multi-year strategy for IC3’s software engineering tools and systems * Identify high-impact investments to improve developer productivity and deployment safety with data-driven business cases * Own and maintain the product roadmap across multi-team, multi-quarter efforts * Balance near-term delivery with long-term platform health and make defensible prioritization decisions * Drive end-to-end execution from concept to launch readiness and remove blockers * Establish operating rhythm for cross-functional alignment and governance * Collaborate with engineering leaders on technical design for build/test/CI-CD/release/deployment systems * Champion safe deployment practices including progressive rollouts, quality gates, feature flighting, and telemetry * Define and track metrics for developer productivity, cycle time, build/test reliability, and deployment success * Provide technical product leadership, mentorship, and best-practices adoption across teams Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development * Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements * Experience driving cross-organizational technical programs to measurable outcomes Key requirements *
