Job description
- Lead Agile/Scrum delivery for cross-functional product, development, QA, and operations teams, ensuring alignment to program priorities, sprint goals, and release commitments.
- Facilitate and continuously improve Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and program-level coordination sessions.
- Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and SAFe methodologies to improve delivery maturity, collaboration, predictability, and team effectiveness.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and remove impediments, risks, and cross-team dependencies that may impact sprint execution, release timelines, or business outcomes.
- Use Agile delivery metrics, including velocity, burn-down/burn-up trends, predictability, throughput, and team health indicators, to drive transparency, inspect-and-adapt discussions, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product Owners and delivery leadership to refine backlogs, prioritize work, manage scope, and ensure sprint execution remains aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Promote disciplined delivery practices across engineering, testing, DevSecOps, and release management activities to support quality outcomes and reliable software delivery.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment by strengthening team norms, improving communication, supporting conflict resolution, and encouraging continuous learning.
- Coordinate with leadership, stakeholders, and other Scrum Masters to communicate progress, risks, dependencies, delivery status, and recommended actions in a clear and timely manner.
- Support enterprise Agile governance by contributing to planning increments, roadmap alignment, release readiness, and process improvement initiatives across teams or programs.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status, with the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.
- Minimum Four (4) or more years of experience supporting Agile software development or technology implementation projects.
- Bachelor’s degree, or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
