Job description

Be in charge of translating business requirements into a structured IT solution while keeping a functional approach
Help translating this functional design into well-tailored technical design
Prepare functional integration test cases based on the requirements
Test the product before delivery to the users
Analyse potential corrective actions to be taken
Coordinate technical designers and programmers during implementation of functionalities
Work closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs
Actively support the Project leaders in the project implementation

Requirements

Fluent in French and/or Dutch and good knowledge of English
Master or Engineer in IT or in a scientific domain with IT interest. Bachelor with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical analysis
Experience with Application Development of Administrative Senior systems in an IT department
Able to capture main topics in discussions with technical IT people Senior
Mastering of MS-Office tools Senior
Strong understanding of Source code Cobol MicroFocus and SQL server
Web based Client/Server systems with MF back-end (Cobol MicroFocus / SQL server)
Batch process experience
Cobol MicroFocus / SQL server programming experience
.NET ; SQL
Functional analysis
Lead Functional Analyst
IT solution design on large scale projects
Agile & Waterfall project methodology
Architectural design
Experience in the Insurance or Banking domain
