About the company

Webfluencer is a fast-growing, award-winning digital agency on the Weteringschans in Amsterdam. We have the pleasure of working with great clients such as Bacardi, ID&T, SONOS and Amsterdam UMC. Design here isn’t a coat of paint at the end: it’s how we solve problems. That’s why we’re looking for a designer who can not only make things beautiful, but also explain why they work. Interesse? Inhoud

  • Design for brands such as Bacardi, ID&T, SONOS and Amsterdam UMC?
  • Work from a blank canvas: brand identities, websites, apps and platforms you shape end to end?
  • Present your own work to clients and defend your choices instead of handing them over?
  • Grow into Senior Designer in a team that keeps you sharp and makes your work better? 4 x ‘YES’? Then read on! As a UX/UI or brand designer you’re able to translate complex challenges into a clear story and a pixel-perfect design, for small brands up to multinationals. You work daily with the design team on tailored digital products: online identities, websites, mobile apps and platforms for a wide range of clients. You often start from scratch. You dive into a client’s mission, dig out what’s really going on and turn that into a concept that sticks. Then you develop it down to the last detail, together with our developers, so what you design ships exactly the way you drew it. Client contact is part of the job. You present your own work, explain your choices and take the client through your thinking. That’s more nerve-racking than staying behind your screen, but it makes you a substantially better designer within two years. We won’t throw you in the deep end: you’ll be coached until you want to do it yourself. You’ll also get the chance to contribute to our own projects and our own brand. From internal tools to campaigns and the evolution of our own site: there’s always space to show your own ideas. Our design team is small, sharp and critical of each other’s work. We give honest feedback, share inspiration and make sure nobody is struggling alone. We celebrate wins together, with socials, team events and an annual workation. What will you do? You’re involved from start to finish. From breaking down the brief to the final design review before launch. No fragmented tasks, but real ownership over what you make.

  • Designing compelling, converting UX/UI for unique projects
  • Turning client missions and brand stories into online identities that hold up
  • Creating wireframes, user flows and prototypes, and validating them with client and team
  • Working designs out in detail and collaborating with developers until it’s pixel-perfect live
  • Presenting your work to clients and explaining your choices clearly
  • Facilitating and organising workshops and brainstorm sessions with our clients
  • Contributing to design systems, components and ways of working that make our team faster
  • Supporting team members across all project phases, from creative brief to online strategy
  • Helping build our own brand expressions and internal projects What do you bring?
