Tech Lead Infrastructure & Platform (Kubernetes)

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead Infrastructure & Platform to lead the technical delivery of complex infrastructure and platform engagements for enterprise clients. This is a highly technical leadership role where you remain close to the technology and actively contribute to the platform alongside the engineering team. You will own the technical direction, architecture, quality standards, and delivery outcomes for Kubernetes-based platforms that support business-critical AI and cloud-native workloads. You will work closely with infrastructure engineers, project managers, client stakeholders, and senior engineering leadership to design and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable platform solutions.

Responsibilities

Kubernetes Platform Architecture

• Own the architecture of Kubernetes-based platforms built using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Design and maintain cluster architecture, multi-tenancy models, deployment strategies, rollback mechanisms, and lifecycle management
• Establish platform standards, reusable patterns, and golden paths for delivery teams
• Drive platform scalability, security, resilience, and operational excellence

Technical Delivery

• Define technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, project sequencing, and delivery milestones
• Break down complex initiatives into actionable workstreams with project stakeholders
• Identify risks early and communicate realistic timelines and trade-offs
• Ensure technical quality, operational readiness, and successful project outcomes

Technical Leadership

• Guide and mentor infrastructure and platform engineers
• Raise engineering standards through architecture reviews, code reviews, and design documentation
• Lead by example through hands-on development, troubleshooting, and platform implementation
• Collaborate with senior engineering leadership on complex technical challenges

Client Engagement

• Act as the primary technical counterpart for client architects and engineering teams
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable platform solutions
• Present architecture decisions and explain constraints, risks, and trade-offs
• Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders throughout delivery

Reliability & Compliance

• Contribute to SLOs, incident management, observability, security, and operational excellence
• Support compliance requirements, auditing, data residency, and governance initiatives
• Drive best practices around risk management and infrastructure reliability

• Deep production experience operating and designing Kubernetes platforms
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise
• Experience owning platform or infrastructure delivery end-to-end
• Senior or Staff-level background in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE
• Strong understanding of reliability engineering, observability, networking, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience leading small technical teams while remaining hands-on
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
• Strong written communication including architecture documents, design reviews, and postmortems, * Consulting or professional services experience
• Experience in regulated environments such as finance, healthcare, or public sector
• Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, agentic systems, or production AI workloads
• Knowledge of EU sovereign cloud and data residency requirements
• Experience building or scaling platform engineering teams, * Enterprise-scale infrastructure projects
