Job description

Identify, originate, and develop new business opportunities for our digital business.
Build strategic partnerships with banks, insurers, wealth managers, IFA platforms, online banks, brokers, and fintechs.
Contribute to the strategic development of AllianzGI’s Digital Investment Solutions portfolio by identifying market needs, client demands, and future growth opportunities.
Develop commercial business cases and innovative digital investment propositions.
Present and position AllianzGI Digital Investment Solutions (e.g., Digital Wealth Management, Portfolio Builder, and future digital capabilities) to senior decision-makers.
Lead complex partnership negotiations and manage the full sales lifecycle.
Act as Proposition Owner for strategic client partnerships following implementation.
Work closely with Product, Digital Business, Technology, Distribution, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver scalable client solutions.
Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities in Digital Wealth, Embedded Investing, and WealthTech.
Build and maintain a network of strategic industry partners across the WealthTech ecosystem.
Represent AllianzGI at industry events and executive client meetings.

Requirements

University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
6-15 years of relevant experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, FinTech, or Financial Services.
Proven track record in originating and closing strategic partnerships with banks, insurers, wealth platforms, online banks, neo-brokers, or other financial institutions across Europe.
Strong understanding of digital wealth management, investment platforms, and digital distribution business models.
Experience in developing, positioning, and commercializing digital investment propositions.
Ability to act as Proposition Owner, taking end-to-end responsibility for client solutions from ideation and commercialization through to successful implementation and ongoing development.
Experience owning client-facing digital solutions throughout their lifecycle, acting as the business owner for client implementations and coordinating product, technology, and commercial stakeholders to ensure long-term success.
Strong understanding of digital technologies, APIs, cloud-based solutions, and systems integration within financial services.
Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling client value propositions.
Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Technology, Engineering, UX, Legal, and Compliance teams.
Commercial mindset with excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong strategic thinking combined with an entrepreneurial and hands-on approach.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
Fluent in German and English; French and Spanish are strongly preferred.
Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning.
