Design Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Design Engineer to support product design, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on mechanical design, 3D modeling, technical documentation, and collaboration across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams., * Create, update, and maintain mechanical drawings and 3D models for new and existing products.

• Support engineering change requests and implement design revisions as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and production teams on product and process improvements.
• Assist with prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), technical documentation, and engineering records.
• Build tolerance stack-ups and optimize part dimensioning and manufacturability.
• Support manufacturing and quality teams with technical troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing teams to support product launches and ongoing production needs.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives related to product performance or manufacturing concerns.
• Assist with small engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Do you have experience in 3D CAD modeling?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically strong in CAD modeling and drawing development, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment., * Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and engineering drawing development.
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with SolidWorks required.
• Experience with additional CAD platforms is a plus.
• Experience with sheet metal design preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and engineering documentation processes preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability principles.
