Job description

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Development Engineer to lead product development projects from concept through production launch. This role works closely with engineering teams, manufacturing, and customers to develop high-quality, cost-effective products and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product design and development for assigned programs
  • Develop 3D models, BOMs, and engineering drawings
  • Support prototype, pilot, and production launch activities
  • Conduct problem solving and failure analysis (FEA, FMEA, DOE, DFMA)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes
  • Participate in design reviews and customer meetings
  • Maintain engineering documentation and release changes
  • Provide technical support across departments

Requirements

Do you have experience in Sheet metal?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Associate Degree in Mechanical Design with 5-10 years of experience, * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in product development/manufacturing

  • Proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
  • Experience with sheet metal design and flat pattern development
  • Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and MRP systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically/internationally

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Experience working with customers and vendors globally
